Our Group

TreeTop Asset Management is an independent private asset management group with a focus on active global equity and convertible bond management. Our investment philosophy and values are rooted in the long term investment experience of its founders: Jacques Berghmans and Hubert d’Ansembourg, who have managed investments globally since 1988.

Their core belief is that in order to deliver consistent superior returns over time, successful portfolio managers must invest with conviction, taking a global perspective, and seeking investment opportunities wherever they arise.

TreeTop Asset Management shareholders include its founders and key staff. As a privately owned group, we foster values of entrepreneurship and accountability. As of December 31, 2010 TreeTop Asset Management consolidated shareholders’ equity amounted to circa 90 million euros. An important part of it is invested alongside our clients’ money in the funds we manage.

The TreeTop Asset management group includes the following operating entities based in Luxembourg, Brussels and London :

• TreeTop Asset Management S.A. is a Luxembourg company incorporated as a société anonyme. The company is regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (www.cssf.lu) as a fund management company under the chapter 15 of the Luxembourg law of December 17, 2010 relating to undertakings for collective investment. TreeTop Asset Management S.A.'s scope includes the management of Luxembourg and foreign investment funds.
• TreeTop Asset Management Belgium is a Belgian company incorporated as a société anonyme. The company is regulated and authorized as a “Société de gestion et de conseil en investissement” by the Financial Services and Markets Authority (www.fsma.be). TreeTop Asset Management Belgium mainly provides portfolio management services to private and institutional clients.
• TreeTop Asset Management LLP is a UK limited liability partnership authorized and regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority (www.fsa.gov.uk) as an investment manager. TreeTop Asset Management LLP provides portfolio management services to its parent company TreeTop Asset Management SA.
